On March 10, 2022, I will start my biggest adventure yet – I want to hike the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) from the Mexican to the Canadian border. The long-distance trail, which is about 4,265 km long, runs from California to Washington via Oregon. Crest, as in mountain crest, says it all. There are about 120,000 meters of altitude covered. In the next 5 months I will walk together with other hikers daily about 30 km with about 12 kg on my back through deserts, cross rivers and try to brave the challenges of snow, forest fires and foot blisters. It sounds totally stupid, well it is. Stupid, but awesome, hopefully.
